Away From Home

We spent the week after Christmas in the U.P.
It's so nice to be able to do this with Corey being a teacher! Actually, this is the first year we were actually able to get away for his vacation! He is usually coaching basketball but this year he's not!
My parents went up Christmas day so they were there when we got there but had to head home on Tuesday. Wish they could have stayed longer but I was happy to see them for a few days!
We had our family gift exchange Sunday night (Mom, (or anybody else) if you took pictures please send me them!).

He NEVER does this! He must have been pretty exhausted!

We went sledding at Swedetown on Tuesday night and the kids had a blast! Kael fell asleep in the car on the way there but was quick to wake up and enjoy sledding. Audrina even went down the hill a few times! She absolutely LOVED it! She kept giggling and leaning towards the hill when we were just holding her at the top!

New Years Eve we got a babysitter and went to Janelle and Kevin's. There was quite a few other couples there as well. We had fun playing games and ended up staying until about 2a.m.!! Lots of fun!
I don't know what I remembered to bring home but apparently I left quite a few things behind! I guess we'll just have to make another trip soon! ;]
